Diabetes Indication

Introduction

Diabetes is today one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the U.S. It is a chronic health condition that affects how the body converts food into energy. It arises when the body either doesn’t produce enough insulin or can’t effectively use the insulin it does produce, leading to elevated blood sugar levels. This condition affects millions worldwide: according to the International Diabetes Federation, approximately 537 million adults live with diabetes in 2024 (an estimated 1 in 10), and this number is projected to rise to 700 million by 2045. Managing diabetes requires a combination of lifestyle changes, medication, and regular monitoring of blood glucose levels to maintain overall health and prevent serious complications such as heart disease, nerve damage, and kidney failure. In order to correctly identify the factor that affect diabetes I will analyze potential conditions that contribute to this disease.
